Single's Ministry

Ministry Coordinator: Bro. Brian Crutcher

Purpose: (1) To provide a spiritual network for like-minded single Christians; (2) to build relationships in Christ in order to edify the body; (3) to address specific issues that those who are single in the Church of Christ are facing on a daily basis; (4) to foster spiritual maturity and growth of single members.

Mission: (1) to be an example of Christians living in the world today without being worldly; (2) to help each single Christian prioritize the Lord and His work above all else and be hold in the body and spirit. (I Cor. 7: 32, 33, 34) Edification; (3) to seek and save the lost. (Matt. 28: 19, 20) Evangelism.

Guidelines:

  • 18 years of age or older;
  • Single- unmarried, widowed, or divorced;
  • Member of the Georgia Avenue Church of Christ

The Georgia Avenue Church of Christ singles will not participate in any non-Christian event that would interfere with our worship services, our faith, or our Christian conduct.

God's Plan of Salvation

Hear the Gospel. (Romans 10:17)
Believe in Jesus Christ. (John 8:24)
Repent of Sin.  (Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30)
Confess Christ.  (Romans 10:9-10)
Be Baptized.  (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38
The Lord will add you to the church. (Acts 2:47)
Live Faithful Unto Death.  (Revelations 2:10)

Youth Ministry

Ministry Coordinators: : Bro. Maurice Williams and Sis. LaTeisha Williams

Purpose: (1) Strengthen the youth in their Christian work; (2) Better prepare them to uphold the faith under any circumstances; (3) Teach them to be good examples to those in the world and in the body; (4) Hold them accountable for accepting their responsibilities as Christians

Mission: “To strengthen the youth in their Christian responsibilities through structured activities and bible studies with faithful adult Christians to insure that they stand firm on the word of God, always putting God first, evangelizing to bring others to Christ, and being good examples in word and deed.”
